Community is who we are…

My Car Doc loves to help the local community. Giving back to those around us is a core value of who we are and the My Car Doc crew believes that we all make life better together. That’s why every summer we host a school supplies drive for the underprivileged students in the Indianapolis area. In October, you can donate blood at the Versiti Bloodmobile during our Dracula Drive event. Each spring, we focus on helping local no-kill animal shelters, collecting food, treats, old towels, old blankets, and other supplies.  Thanks so much for all of your help! With your assistance, we are making big changes for the future of Indianapolis!

Please drop any donated supplies or donations off at The My Car Doc Car Care Clinic at 8246 Allisonville Rd. Conveniently located next door to Crew Car Wash near the intersection of 82nd and Allisonville, the My Car Doc Car Care Clinic is here to serve you and the local community.

SMASHFEST!

At My Car Doc we love cars and community. That’s why each year we host Smash Fest! This is a 4 hour event that features you guessed it… We smash a car with sledgehammers to benefit a charity.  Additionally we host area restaurants in what’s like a taste of Castleton. We collect silent auction items from area businesses and feature other family friendly activities.  There is always good music playing too.

What is Brakes for Breasts?
Brakes for Breasts is a fundraiser designed for independent repair shops in which 100% of the funds go directly to the Cleveland Clinic Breast Cancer Vaccine Research Fund.
What is the Breast Cancer Vaccine?
Cancer Vaccine that has proven 100% effective in preventing Breast Cancer in laboratory animals.
What does the money we raise actually get spent on?
Research. Dr. Tuohy’s current vaccine specifically targets the triple negative Breast Cancer gene, the most deadly form, with no specific treatment available. Research is currently underway to develop a vaccine suitable for all other types of Breast Cancer, Ovarian Cancer and Prostate Cancer.
